CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Beginner Walk/Trot Division: No professionals! All ages welcome, classes will be split if entries warrant. Open to riders in their first two years of showing. Year End Champion must advance out.

Walk/Trot Hunter Division: Open to all. Intended for all age riders and horses who are new to the show ring. Classes will be split if entries warrant. Year End Champion must advance out (horse/rider combination).

Walk/Trot/Canter Division: Open to all. All ages welcome. Classes will be split into small groups to canter for safety. Classes will be split entirely if entries warrant. Year End Champion must advance out (horse/rider combination).

Beginner Rider Division: No professionals! All ages welcome, classes will be split if entries warrant. Crossrail courses will be twice around outside lines, no flower boxes/lines. Simple changes will not be penalized. Year End Champion must advance out (horse/rider combination).

Leadline: Open to all ages young and old! Must have ASTM approved helmet and be lead by a ground person at all times. Will not be asked to trot.

Restricted Low Hunter Division: No professionals! All ages welcome. Courses will consist of full hunter type courses with gates, filler, oxers and flower boxes/lines. May cross enter into Low Hunter Division.

Low Hunter Division: Open to all. You may jump different heights within the division at the same show. Courses will consist of full hunter type courses with gates, filler, oxers and flower boxes/lines. Jump heights offered: 2’ and 2'3". All heights are judged together as one division.

Open Hunter Division: Open to all. You may jump a different height within the division at the same show. Courses will consist of full hunter type courses with gates, filler, oxers and flower boxes/lines. Jump heights offered: 2’6” and higher. All heights are judged together as one division.

Equitation Over Fences: No professionals! Open to all ages. You may select what height to jump at each show. Courses will consist of full equitation type courses with gates, filler, oxers and flower boxes/lines. There can also be a narrow/skinny fence. At the judges discretion, further testing may be required including a flat phase. Class 33 will be offered at: 2’ and 2’3” Class 37 will be offered at: 2’9” and higher.

Equitation on the Flat: No professionals! Open to all riders except those that showed in classes 1-4.

Hunter Breeding Division: Breeding classes are judged on conformation, way of moving, quality, substance, soundness and suitability to become or in the case of sires and dams apparent ability to produce or beget hunters. Yearlings, Two year-olds and Three year-olds are to walk and jog. Horses that are not sound are ineligible for an award. All animals of yearling status and older must be shown in a bridle. 1st and 2nd place winners in all qualifying classes may show in the Best Young Horse class.

Hopeful Jumper Division: Open to all. Table II, Sec. 2(b) classes go clean first round, stay in the ring to jump off over a shortened course. Table II, Sec. 2(c) classes are power and speed. Half of the course is not timed and counts faults only – if clean, continue on directly to speed portion of course, which counts time and faults. This division is offered at 2’, 2’3” and 2’6”. You may select which height you want to jump for EACH CLASS. You do not have to remain at the same height throughout the division. All heights will be judged together. DUE TO THE REQUIRED COURSE CHANGE, PRE-ENTRIES FOR AT LEAST ONE JUMPER CLASS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE POSTMARKED DATE (see Pre-Entry Closing Dates listed below).

SCHOOLING will be permitted in the ring on the morning of the show from 6:45 am to 7:45 am for everyone. Warm up area/jumps available all day.

ENTRIES are $10.00 per class for all classes. There is a $15.00 EMT/Grounds fee. POST ENTRIES will be subject to a $20.00 late fee (see closing dates below)!

PRE-ENTRY CLOSING DATES: April 9th show entries must be POST MARKED or FB/EMAIL DATE STAMPED by April 6th. May 21st show by May 17th. June 18th show by June 14th. September 10th show by September 6th. October 8th show by October 4th. Please email questions and/or entries to: finallyfarmnc@gmail.com Entries MUST be received by closing date to receive the waived EMT/Grounds Fee. Please mail all entries and checks to: Finally Farm 732 Hillsford Lane Apex NC 27502. Please note this is NOT the farm address!!!

EMT/RN A licensed EMT or RN will be onsite from 6:45 am until the completion of each show. There will be a $15.00 Grounds/EMT fee per exhibitor.

NEGATIVE COGGINS is required of each horse on the show grounds.

DOGS Please be respectful of exhibitors and management and keep your dog on a leash at all times.

THE MANAGEMENT reserves the right to reschedule, combine, close, add or delete any classes or change the announced officials as may be necessary and in the best interest of the show.

HELMETS must be worn by all riders while mounted on the show grounds. Juniors must have ASTM-SEI helmets. Adults are encouraged to wear ASTM-SEI helmets.

*If show management deems a horse unsound to compete/continue competing, a refund will be given for classes not completed. EMT/Grounds fee is non-refundable once an exhibitor has shown.

*Formal show attire is not required; however either tall boots or paddock boots and britches are required. Half chaps are permitted. Please no tank tops while showing.

*Please note that our fences do consist of striped/color rails, gates, flower boxes/lines, barrels, and other filler.



BASIC JUMPER RULES
Table II, Sec. 2(b): All clean first rounds stay in the ring and complete a timed jump off.

Table II, Sec.2(c): Power and Speed. If you complete the Power phase of the course without faults, you cross through the timers and continue onto the timed Speed phase. Those with faults in the Power phase do not complete the Speed phase of the course.

*For both first rounds and jump off rounds, you have 45 seconds to cross the starting line from the time you are given an audible signal.

*4 FAULTS: Knockdown of obstacle or standard with any portion of horse, rider or equipment when jumping an obstacle.

*4 FAULTS: First disobedience anywhere on course. Refusals, steps backwards, loss of forward movement, and circles.

*ELIMINATION: Fall of horse or rider, second cumulative disobedience, taking more than 45 seconds to jump the first jump, jumping an obstacle before crossing the starting line, going off course, rider and/or horse leaving arena before finishing the course, excessive use of whip or spurs.

*Because this is a Schooling Jumper Show series, reasonable outside coaching is permitted from the gate. Management reserves the right to make a judgment call if it appears this courtesy is being abused, unsafe
